About Beverly

Counseling and Psychotherapy

Beverly  Bernzen's 40 year social work career focuses on helping individuals  overcome their difficulties and reach their full potential. Beverly  conducts a clinical interview to determine a clear definition of the  client's problem and develop an effective treatment plan. She helps  people use their strengths to overcome their difficulties.
 

Ms. Bernzen's general counseling practice serves all ages- from youth to  seniors. Beverly keeps abreast of community resources available to  clients. She participates in multiple professional and community groups.  
 

Beverly Bernzen earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from University  of Illinois Jane Adams School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a former Clinical Supervisor. Ms. Bernzen is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is a Certified Social Worker. She is an Executive Committee Board Member of the Texas Suicide Prevention Council. She is a Master Trainer for "ASK About Suicide to Save a Life", best practice suicide prevention curriculum. 

Speaking and Training

Beverly offers training for professionals and community groups. She has multiple training certifications.
